Muscle degeneration caused by the genetic disorder Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), which is X-linked recessive. However, it canals be passed down from parents or be the result of a recent mutation. Although there are numerous treatments and medications to manage DMD, there is still no known cure for the disease. The market for muscular dystrophy was valued at USD 693.34 million in 2021, and by2028, it is anticipated to have grown to USD 1,533.72 million, with a CAGR of more than 11.87%. (2022–2028).
